From Chaos to Clarity: How I Found Balance in the Busy Life of Motherhood and Big City Living

Updated: 9 hours ago

There was a time when I felt like I was always running.

Running to catch the train.

Running to get the laundry done.

Running to respond to one more message, make one more meal, tick one more thing off the list.

Running while feeling like I was falling further behind with myself.

And now?I’m doing it all with a toddler on my hip.

I have a beautiful little boy who’s just over a year and a half, and while being his mama is my greatest joy… it’s also a lot.

The days are full, the nights are short, and let’s be honest, some days, a proper meal feels as ambitious as a weekend in Paris.

If you’re a woman navigating motherhood, big-city life, and the messy, magical chaos in between—I see you.

Why Nutrition? Why Me?

I didn’t fall into nutrition because I had it all figured out.

I was drawn to it because I didn’t.

At first, I just wanted to inform myself.

How could I make better choices for me and my family?

How could I feel my best, even on the busiest days?

I’ve always been passionate about health, energy, and living fully, while embracing that, as human beings, there's always room to grow.

What started as a personal journey became something much bigger.

Because the more I learned, the more I felt called to help other women do the same.

That’s how Glow & Go was born, a space for women who want to feel good in their skin, find balance in their day, and glow from the inside out.

City Life Doesn’t Make It Easy

Let’s be real

Living in a big, fast-paced city comes with its own kind of pressure.

Temptations are everywhere: the corner cafés, the endless food delivery options, the convenience stores on every block.

When you’re commuting, working, mothering, and trying to hold the house together... your own wellbeing often falls to the bottom of the list.

Then there are the endless visits to the fridge, grabbing that treat you’re always craving, hoping it gives you just enough energy or comfort to get through the next moment.

I’ve been there too.

I knew there had to be a better way.

Not perfect, just better. Sustainable. Kind. Real.

From Struggling to Thriving - One Small Step at a Time

When I began studying nutrition coaching, it wasn’t just about what to eat it was about why and how.

Why I felt so exhausted.

Why food felt like a struggle.

Why it was so hard to be consistent.

And what I found was this:

I didn’t need a detox.

I needed understanding.

I needed a strategy that worked with my life, not against it.

I needed flexibility, compassion, and space to evolve.

Even now, as a coach, I still see myself as a work in progress.

There’s always room for growth, and that’s a beautiful thing.

To the Woman Reading This

You're Not Lazy. You're Just Tired.

You’re showing up in so many ways every day.

And maybe you’ve been telling yourself you just need more willpower.

But no, you don’t need discipline.

You need support.

You don’t need another quick fix.

You need a rhythm that fits your life.

You need tools that work for your reality, messy mornings, skipped naps, half-drunk coffees and all.

Let’s Redefine What “Healthy” Looks Like

For moms. For women. For you.

Healthy is not about perfection.

It’s about having energy to run around with your child and still feel like yourself.

It’s about meals that fuel you without stressing you out.

It’s about being kind to your body and proud of your choices.

It’s about confidence, clarity, and coming home to yourself.

I’m Here Because I’ve Lived It

I get the tired mornings.

The quick snacks.

The mental load.

The body changes.

I’m not here to judge, I’m here to support.

To guide you back to balance.

To remind you that you’re worthy of feeling good, even in the busiest season of life.

With Glow and Go, I’m here to walk that journey with you with practical guidance, real tools, and a whole lot of compassion.
